It was in January of 1999 that God clearly directed Pastor Jerry to start a church in Orange County. It would be a church that He (God) would build. Through prayer and faith, a team began to grow and 7 years later a small group has turned into a thriving church of over 3,000 attendees.
In the Summer of 2005 the Lord spoke to Neil Kelly, associate pastor, to return to his home town of Kalamazoo and to bring with him the power and truth that The Rock had to offer. The first satellite campus of The Rock has now been open in Kalamazoo for a little over 3 years and is growing strong.
The Rock, Kalamazoo is as deeply committed to its mission as ever - to "Build Solid Lives - one at a time."
